Falkirk is the biggest single centre of urban population in the force area. It comprises a vibrant town centre and night time economy and its pedestrian High Street and covering shopping mall, pubs, clubs and restaurants are popular with many.

Out of town visitors are being increasingly drawn by attractions such as the Falkirk Wheel and Forth & Clude and Union Canals, Callander Park - home of Big in Falkirk arts and music festival - and the Antonine Wall which has been awarded UNESCO World Heritage Status.
