Falkirk Area Command

Superintendent Robbie McGregor - Falkirk Area Commander

Area Commander - Superintendent Robbie McGregor

Supt McGregor has held the position of Falkirk Area Commander since December 2007. He has previously held a wide range of roles including several within Crime Management Services. He had previously served as Detective Chief Inspector as Director of Intelligence and as Chief Inspector for Falkirk Sub-Area Command.

Superintendent Robbie McGregor says: "The performance of officers and staff within Falkirk Area Command over the 12 months between April 1 2009 and March 31 2010 has been excellent.

"Communities across the Area Command should take great reassurance from the fact that crime rates are falling and the detection rate is above 60 per cent.

"Anti-social behaviour in all its forms, drug dealing, road safety, public protection continue to be our priorities and will underpin our efforts to keep communities across Falkirk Area Command as safe as they can be.

"Vandalism continues to account for a very large proportion of all crime in this area, but we have dedicated officers looking at crimes which are committed, tracing suspects and targeting repeat offenders. These crimes might often seem to be at the lesser end of the scale, but they can cause a great deal of disruption and concern."

Chief Inspector Gordon Taylor and Gordon Dawson support Superintendent McGregor in the day to day management of policing across the area command.
