Encompassing the bustling town of Alloa and the smaller towns and villages along the Ochil Hills towards the force boundaries with Fife and Tayside, such as Sauchie, Clackmannan, Kennet, Forrestmill and Fishcross, Clackmannanshire is the smallest of the three Area Commands.

Alloa itself is the largest town in the area and is currently in the midst of a substantial regeneration initiative. This has ranged from new housing and retail developments to the re-opening of a rail link to Stirling and beyond. In November 2008, the First Minister Alex Salmond opened the Clackmannanshire Bridge, spanning the River Forth, linking the Wee County with the motorway network.

Alloa and the immediate surrounding areas are experiencing a population growth which will bring new challenges for the community constables. The other half of the area command covers the villages of Tullibody, Glenochil, Cambus, Menstrie and Alva. Officers also serve communities in the Hillfoots - Tillicoultry, Dollar, Muckhart, Coalsnaughton and Devonside.

The area command is home to Glenochil Prison, a major alcohol production site operated by Diageo, the Sterling Mills retail park - all over looked by the grandeur of the Ochil Hills.
