Making a Complaint

If you wish to make a complaint about Central Scotland Police or a member of the Force, you can do so in a number of ways:

  • In person at any police office
  • Indirectly through a third party when details will be noted and arrangements made for you to be interviewed by a senior member of staff
  • By letter, either to a police office or the Complaints and Conduct Department at Force Headquarters, Randolphfield, Stirling
  • By telephone, either to the Force Service Centre at Headquarters or the Complaints and Conduct Dept. which is open Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm
  • By email using the 'Contact Us' form located within the Contact Us section of the Force website

Alternatively, you may wish to and are entitled to be represented by another person e.g. a solicitor, an elected representative or other organisation.

Please note however, that at some point, we may require to take a statement from you personally and if you wish, you may be accompanied by a friend or representative.

As necessary, we can arrange for an interpreter to assist and if you are under 16 years, you would be interviewed with a parent or responsible adult present.
